I am off to Canberra tonight where the Association for the Study of Australian Literature Annual Conference is being held at Australian National University.
The Australian crime fiction books which feature Quong the Siamese cat are set in this lovely part of the world. The dust jackets of Geoff de Fraga's novels (Murder at the Cookout and Murder by Wash of Light) proudly boast that the crimes take place in "glamorous Canberra".
I am hoping my trip does not involve any murders!
